  • Hi numana,

Which caching modules are you using (e.g. Page, Database, Object)?
If you are using Page Caching, which page caching method are you using?
    Are you on shared hosting?

A link to your site and screenshots of your settings would help, too.

Hi AJ, right now I have unistall the plugin.

I had page, database, browser and minify modules activated. I deactivated object module in order to test if that was the problem, but it was no difference. My site it’s in a shared hosting and that’s because i was using disk caching method (enhaced disk for page).

I had tried everything, could be the minify proccess that cause that delay? Actually i’m testing on a page of 3Mb (this will be lighter after some modifications).

But why can be the delay in server response?
    Thanks

Just to make sure I’m clear: the site’s server response time was/is better with W3TC disabled/uninstalled? If so, how are you measuring this?

…If you choose to reinstall, disable both Object and Database caching as the response time of the disk is probably not fast enough for either, thereby causing the problems.

If that doesn’t fix it, leave Object and Database caching off and instead of ‘Disk: Enhanced’, try ‘Disk: Basic’ for Page Caching.

If that doesn’t fix it, I would need to at least see screenshots of your settings to help further.

    Best,
    AJ

Ok, I will try with this configuration and come back with the results.

    Thanks!

Thanks for your answer. But after search more on internet I found this blog post https://makeaweblog.com/w3-total-cache-settings/.

It shows how to configure W3 TOTAL CACHE for shared servers. I think most of the users uses this type of hosting for their blogs. You may include in the plugin an auto configuration for shared hosting. That will help a lot.

    Thanks!
