• I have the Focus Premium theme version 2.2 installed at my site https://www.multitapped.com/stage/

I’m very new to the administration side of WordPress, so I thought this would be a good place to start trying to get answers to a few questions of mine.

I’m running a site that has multiple (about a dozen) ‘authors’ who each use a different sub category for their submissions to the site. However, they release in different intervals. However, because we’re all co-founders of the site I want to make sure that everyone has a spot on the main page, preferably where the Latest Posts are.

Is there a way to change the way this section behaves? I’d like to limit these posts to a single category, then limit posts displayed per subcategory to one. This way, everyone’s latest video will always be on the main page.

I’m open to installing different plugins to accomplish this, but in my search everything seems to add a new widget, and I can’t find a way to change the widgets displayed on the main page, only the header, footer, and side. Any assistance in this would be very much appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Hi @superderek

    Thanks for reaching out.

Focus unfortunately can’t do this by default. Using our Page Builder plugin and the Post Loop widget this would be possible. However, Focus unfortunately loses the post slider if we set a static home page.

The .org forums prefer to help out premium queries on our site. If you’d like to open a thread at https://siteorigin.com/thread or contact us via email at [email protected] I can try help out with a slightly customised solution.

How can I get the structure of my page to look like https://www.multitapped.com?

I want the video slidebar in the homepage and auto-populated video images. How is this possible?
