VAT not showing on invoice

These settings are indeed the solution to show the VAT on the invoice. Three things I am noticing now:

1) Productcode column shows as:
Productcod
e

2) The invoice shows the product cost excluding VAT then shows the VAT and then the total rule/line amount but this is also exclusing VAT, is it possible to show the line total including VAT?

3) At the end calculation at the bottom it shows the VAT like VAT 21% how can I change this to BTW 21%? My tax rules are named BTW 21% and this is correct in the column heading but not at the total end calculation.

Hi im having the same issue as above in that I cant see my VAT. would you mind sharing the woocomerce tax settings i need for the UK market, VAT charged at 20%?

also im using the latest versions of your software and also wordpress

You have to enable the taxes in Woocommerce, see https://docs.woothemes.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/ for instructions.

@bas: Everything is correct now. Only 1 thing I’ve mentioned is still the same:

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Ive been through the link and set it up but still no luck. Here are my settings as shown below:

Tax Options

Enable Taxes Enable Taxes Enable taxes and tax calculations

Prices Entered With Tax Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax

Calculate Tax Based On: Customer shipping address

Shipping Tax Class: Shipping tax class based on cart items

Rounding not selected

Additional Tax Classes reduced rate and normal rate

Display Prices in the Shop: Including tax

Display Prices During Cart and Checkout: Excluding tax

Price Display Suffix: N/A

Display Tax Totals: Itemized

Tax Rates for the “Standard” Class

country code GB

RAte 20.0000

Shipping ticked

All other fields are blank.

@th.D. there will be an option in the next update.
Thereby subtotal will be on top of the table footer, followed by discount (if not 0.00) and shipping.

@evelynandjones, @th.D. and @blueness please try 2.2.9. I’ve fixed the problems. Please let me know if it works! Would appreciate it! ??

In the product description, the amount excluding vat, the quantity, the taxes and the total with taxes included is correct! that’s really cool.

Thanks a lot. It’s almost perfect. I still see a problem on my invoices though.
There is this subtotal field where the subtotal is with VAT included and you see a line for the delivery fees and a line for the VAT and then the order total. Would’t it be better if we had the subtotal excluding vat, delivery fees and vat and then the total all taxes included?

So I mean to display the subtotal without taxes as they also appear beneath it?

I like this plugin very much, but just like TH.D above I think the subtotal line as it appears on the invoice is pretty confusing.

It includes the product total amount including VAT, but also the VAT related to the shipping cost (without the shipping cost itself), so this is what ends up on my invoice:

Article price = 100 / Quty = 1 / VAT = 20 / Total = 120

Subtotal = 122
Shipping = 10
VAT = 22
—–
Total = 132

It seems like too much of a strange way to put things for me to be able to use this plugin with my customers.

Do you think this is due to a wrong WC setting? Both WC and WP are the latest versions and your plugin is up to date as well.
