(Note I looked at the colors on your site and this seemed to be the ‘purple’ one in use.)

When editing CSS, use a Child Theme

Edits to parent themes are lost on theme update.

Thank you Pioneer Valley Web Design. It took me a while to figure out the child theme, but once I did that it worked like a charm. I eneded up liking black text instead of purple, but you got the purple color exactly right. I do have one more question. The text in the header box also changed to black. Is there CSS code to keep the text black but change the header text “Fitness” and “Recipes” to white.
