Yikes! I created a new page for upcoming product release and I had the right permalink for it. After getting everything else set up today I see that all of a sudden there is a blog post title inserted into my permalink for this new page and the only part I can edit is the end, not the part that needs deleted. I don’t even know how this happened and I can’t find any posts with answers! I need help quickly as my product goes live in 4 days. I totally deleted this ‘new’ page and created an entire new one, got done, published, and the exact same thing happened where this same post title got magically inserted into my page’s permalink. How do I change this ONLY this page’s permalink? https://www.decisive-empowered-resilient.com
this is the page I am talking about here –
    https://www.decisive-empowered-resilient.com/results-holly-homer-method-week-one/focus-value-ebook/
that whole results-holly etc is not supposed to be there and I did not enter it there when I created this new page for the second time. And the only part it lets me edit is the focus-value-ebook which all I had entered.

  • It’s possible that you created this new page as a child page by accident.

Go into the editing screen of the new page and check the Page Attributes box (usually on the right). Make sure that the “Parent” dropdown box is set to (no parent) and Save/Update the page.
