Plugin does not activate

  • I have using wordpress 4.2.2 and I tried to activate the “Testimonial widget” plugin with no success.
    Strange – it was working in my MAMP environment locally on my PC.
    I even tried to reinstall the plugin but I wasn’t able to activate it.
    It says “Plugin activated” but when looking at the list of plugins after – it is shown as not activated.
