• Is there a way of removing custom fields that have been created? I mean in terms of the drop down list that is made from creating them.

    bump, anyone?

Well, 3 hours is way too soon to be bumping… but that’s probably not the answer you’re after. :-p

    Moving along.

I’m willing to be wrong, but isn’t the dropdown list populated with all the values you’ve used previously?

Which would mean that to remove items, you’d first have to remove them from the associated post. Is that what you have in mind?

Just supposition, I haven’t actually gone to inspect the code, but it fits observations.

The mods right…. just delete all the key’s associated with the post of the custom fields that you want removed from the list.

hmm how do u search for the posts that contains that custom field?

I also suggest it should be searchable. I am currently searching for the ONE post amongst 100+ where I might have populates that field. And you know how FAST WP gets in the backend..
