Cannot restore database – Script timeout passed

  • Hi!

    I am moving a wordpress installtion from one Godaddy hosting account to another.

    Every time I try to restore my back up database following error occurrs :

    “Script timeout passed, if you want to finish import, please resubmit same file and import will resume”

    I tried resubmitting but it doesn’t work. I have also tried copy pasting database file which returns, “Server time out”

    My back up database file is 20 mb

    Kindly help

    Have you contacted GoDaddy support? I have found they are very helpful when it comes to DB problems on their server.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have been on 30-40 minutes long calls (mostly on hold).

    They suggested copy paste (which did not work either) when import did not work. They have now suggested to use mysql workbench, I have no idea how to use that ??

    If your still on hold with them, ask them to explain step by step. If they don’t know, ask for a hosting tech.
