    Hi,
I see this is an error that keeps popping up from time to time, it’s doing it on my site.

I have the latest versions of WordPress, NG Gallery, and all other plugins.

I have tried deactivating all other plugins and changing theme and the problem is still there – go to add an image or gallery and I get “You browser doesn’t have Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.”

Also tried it with Firefox, Chrome, and IE and problem is still there.

Note the spelling mistake – “you browser” rather than “your browser” – is this an NG message or a WordPress message?

Anyway, I currently cant add any images.

I’m hosted with Rackspace, everything is tickety boo on the server.

Please help, it’s driving me nuts.

    Thanks.

A couple of other things I forgot to mention – have deleted the nextgen gallery plugin and reinstalled a fresh copy, and reinstalled the latest WordPress version, the plugin still won’t work.

    Thanks.

This has now been resolved thanks to some fantastic support from the NextGen guys, I’m posting the fix below to help anyone else who might have the same problem caused by the same thing.

The issue was in the wp-config file – I’d recommend making a backup copy of the original before doing this in case you need to put it back.

There were a couple of instances of “define” lines being added to the site, these were:

‘WP_HOME’ and ‘WP_SITEURL’ – there were strangely 2 of each, I simply deleted them all.

    Secondly was the line:

    define(‘WP_CONTENT_URL’, ‘/wp-content’);

The wp-content bit should be the full path – e.g. https://yoursite.com/wp-content

Sorted those out and the problem is gone, it’s also sorted out another issue of the general settings, etc sections of nextgen being blank pages.

Good luck, I hope it works for you too.

Thank you @daveshu1234. This was driving me nuts!
This answer needs to find its way to a lot of other threads out there on this subject, I suspect.

    Hi Team,

I am also facing the same issue “You browser doesn’t have Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support” and I cannot able to upload the images on the nextgen gallery. Since I am using the WordPress 4.3 latest version and also I have the nextgen gallery updated to the latest version.

Please guide to solve this issue.

    Thanks,
    -John

@johncalcabe – have you tried the solution in post no.4?

That seems to be how to solve this issue.
