Site that I am admin of now has older version of Cyclone Slider. How to upgrade?

  • I am now admin of a site that has the older version of Cyclone Slider. I cannot find any information on how to upgrade to the latest version.

    When I deactivate the original Cyclone Slider and activate Cyclone Slider II, my pages with slideshows are blank from the slideshow on down. Something appears to be preventing the rest of the page from loading.

    I know I recreate all the slideshows, but that seems laborious.

    Using Bootstrap child theme and latest WordPress.

    Point me in the right direction if possible.

    Actually I don’t think I am going to wait on a reply. I have noticed that is seems to have been about 3-4 months prior to this post since the plugin author has replied to any questions. Not really the kind of author interaction that I trust in a plugin. I think I will find one that has better communication from the author.
