Square WooCommerce

Are there any plans to integrate Square as a payment gateway in the near future?

I see that Square has Square Connect: https://connect.squareup.com/, which I’m wondering could be the basis of an integration.

I’m not sure if there are technical issues, if it’s coming, or if something even currently exists. Any help would be appreciated.
