problem with "last voted" display when using video

The contest looks great on the initial view, but once you rate a competitor, the subsequent hotornot display wants to show your vote on the last competitor at the top, including perhaps that image. The problem is that when I am using video embeds for competitors, there is no image, and that area of the screen is blank but contains a link back to the previous competitor.

Is there a way to turn of the “last voted” display entirely and avoid the problem? If not, is there a way to display the video embed as that last competitor (which would match what the user actually saw)?

And by the way, in the competitor code video embed, I have autoplay=1, so if the plugin used the same code for the “last competitor” view, auto play would be problematic.

Is there an option to disable that last competitor view altogether and avoid these various problems?
