I creating a website for a print design company. And the guy wants a Collections page, where he can post his all designs. Its actually a media gallery with a lot of pictures. Each picture has an ID no.

He wants, when someone hover with mouse on picture, a message come out saying contact for more information. -Until here everything is fine-

Then he wants, when someone click on that message (this part is fine too) he wants that person redirected or popup message a contact form, where his customers can contact him – but he doesnt want customer see the ID no of picture, and he want to know message coming regarding what picture????

I think the contact form need to know the ID of picture, and I dont know how? ??

    I need your helps

    Thanks

  • Hi there

You have to research plugins, i don’t think that this is impossible, try to find plugins

I have been searching but couldnt find one :/

Not displaying the ID to the customers is difficult. would this be a deal-breaker if they were able to see the ID?

How comfortable are you with creating custom pages?

It would be possible to do this by –

    1. creating a custom template page that is stripped down of all formatting (no header, no menu, no title)
    2. using a lightbox plugin to open this custom page using the modal method (i.e. lightbox/colorbox)
    3. adding a contact form to that page that extracts the image ID from the URI and adds it as a hidden field within the form (i.e contact form 7)
