Plugins not supported in certain themes

    I really know nothing about coding aside from a tiny bit of html. When I have problems I usually just guess at the problem, but lately I don’t have the patience, so I figured I would come here to the experts.

    I want to use the Theme Switcher plugin, but some of the themes I have downloaded don’t seem to support it (i.e., it doesn’t show up.) Is there a way for me to add the appropriate coding to a theme..and if so, what is the coding (or where do I go to figure it out) and where does it go?

    Ok, I just discovered the wonderful world of widgets! Yep, had never heard of them until about an hour ago. *sigh* There is a widget for a theme switcher which worked on at least one theme I was having trouble with. So I think my problem is solved for now.
