Live Preview Doesn't Work with MU Domain Mapping

  • For a while the Live Preview feature never worked on my WordPress site. The control panels on the left were there, but the live preview in the right panel was always blank.

    When I disabled the MU Domain Mapping plugin, it started working! When I enable it, live preview stops working again.

    I also tried disabling the other few plugins I use one by one, and the only one that seems to be causing the problem with live preview is the domain mapping plugin.

    Any way to fix this issue?

    Are you running the dashboard under the mapped domain?

    Hi Ron,

    Yes, it looks like the Dashboard is running under the mapped domain. When I tried the Preview feature on the primary domain for WordPress, it worked. But I’m not sure how I fix this for the other mapped domains. Is there a setting somewhere that I can change to set it up properly?

    Preview should work if your dashboard is running under the mapped domain & the mapped domain is set as the primary domain.
