Site title and tagline

  • Hi guys,
    In my theme’s customization option, I’ve entered a site title and tagline. I was under the impression this is what would show up when the site’s name was put into google. But it doesn’t. How do I get a tag line and site title to show up on google?

  • Choose a good SEO plugin like SEO by Yost. Follow the tutorial.

    Do you mean that the site doesn’t appear in Google at all, or that it does but not with the right title/tagline?

    It does appear in google, just like this:

    pinnaclehomes.ca/

    But I would like it to say
    Pinnacle Homes
    Let us build your dream home.

    Right, I do second @wslade’s comment to install an SEO plugin and configure that properly.
