RePost: Enigma Loss of Functionality

  • I’m following up on this thread. I have been out of touch for a long while since our last conversation. I have since created a Child theme however that did not restore the loss as previously stated.

    *All icons are missing- including social media links and in the services area.
    *In the Services area I can’t enter in a description of the services I offer.

    I have downloaded the 1.8.9 version to find the issues remain then looking through other chats I found the link for 1.8.6 and I have repeatedly tried to download however it fails.
    Is there any further advice?

    It may be due to the plugin conflict-ion.

    I have deactivated all plugins and I gained access to change the verbiage the icons still will not populate.

    Hi,

    you can try this also go to dashboard admin panel >> settings >>

    Permalinks >> Permalinks Settings >> common settings.

    Now check mark the “default”.

    Save the changes.

    Or you can also try this.

    I have followed your suggestion to reset the permalinks to default however there is no change what so ever and my icons are still missing.

    Hi,

    I think you have made any changes into your core theme directory.

    So please follow the given below instructions:

    First of all download the font-awesome icon toolkit using this LINK

    Now Go to your core theme directory >> css folder.

    Now delete the “font-awesome-4.3.0” folder from your core theme directory.

    And paste new version which you downloaded.

    I don’t see the font-awesome icon toolkit on that page and when I search for it I get font-awesome plugins. Where am I going wrong?
