• I have PMPro setup with the only issue being the following API error when someone subscribes (we’re currently using PayPal standard):

    ‘errorcode’ => ‘10002’,
    ‘error’ => ‘You do not have permissions to make this API call. Please contact the site owner or cancel your subscription from within PayPal to make sure you are not charged going forward.’,
    ‘shorterror’ => ‘Authentication/Authorization Failed’,

    Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve checked the email address is valid and verified and enabled API access, though that seems to be for PayPal express?

    I’ve also tried PayPal express, but about 10 minutes after a successful subscription the buyer gets an email saying “Your automatic payment did not go through”. Any ideas on this also? I’d prefer PayPal Express, but standard provided me with more error information.

    Any insight would be grateful.
    Matt

    Using PayPal express it seems it’s worked for one my of colleagues but not for me. Any ideas why this would be the case?

    Make sure you have selected Payment Gateway: PayPal Express and then Gateway Environment: Live/Production.

    You do not have permissions to make this API call” error can also be due to fact that you have not enabled API permissions under your PayPal Seller Preferences.
