Installed, but now my Contact Form is Broken

I installed WP-Mail-SMTP on a WordPress Site, and now the site won’t deliver email anymore, even though the contact forms say “message successful”.
Is there a way to totally de-install this plugin? I am stuck on what to do.
Any help on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
