  • Hi KenneyLees, can you disable all your other plugins except this one. Let me know if it works. If it does work that means that it has a conflict with one of your other plugins. If that is the case then enable one by one and at the same time carrying out a test until you come across the conflicting plugin.

    Hi,

appreciate the quick response, my only question is : I have had this plugin for a number of months now and its only just stopped working since upgrading to the most recent version of WordPress. I have not added in any additional plugins, so not sure where the conflict would come from.

    Thanks,
    Kenny.

    Hi Kenny,

Could you share the URL to your website please? When a slideshow’s not working, it’s oftentimes caused by a JavaScript issue on the website.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

    https://www.thehavenkilmacolm.com.

The Nivoslider on the homepage is also not working, I stupidly upgraded to newest version of WordPress to see if this would fix the issue and didn’t backup website. !!

I am making a copy of current site and will ‘roll it back’.

Anyway sorry went off-topic!, I have used your plugin on the this link for example:

    thanks,

The problem is caused by the slideshow not being able to find its settings, due to a mismatch. This could be caused by a bug in the slideshow’s code, but it’s also possible that the mismatch is caused by an old version of your website being cached by a caching plugin. Do you use a caching plugin? If so, could you please try to purge/clear its cache and see if the slideshow works?

    Hi Stefan,

I dont use a caching plugin.

Is there a previous version of this plugin that i could roll back too?

    thanks,
    Kenny

@kenny try the following URL, this is version 2.2.22.

Same problem here. Only updated the Slideshow plugin and now its only showing the loading circle icon, nothing else.

Hi, found the culprit. It is the All in One SEO plugin which is causing the problem. KennyLees, Please try disabling the All in One SEO plugin if you have it installed, and see if the slideshow works.

    Good man Ameet.

    appreciate that!

    Kenny.

@ KennyLees has your issue been fixed with @ameet Agarwal suggestion? If it has can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you

I`m having the same issue and I’m not using an SEO plugin nor a caching plugin. It stopped working with the upgrade to WP 4.2.2. The WP upgrade has been the only change for many months. Please help.

Found the problem. It was a conflict with: Smart Slideshow Widget (by obikui). I disabled the Smart Slideshow Widget and now it works.

    Thanks, CHMAFC

@mike33 try to disable all other plugins except this one. See if your slideshow appears again.
