No Custom Fields Tag

I am not sure what you are asking.

Are you saying that the Amazon Product in a post meta box is not displaying, or are you saying that the meta values do not show up in the Custom Fields section?

Actually, we found a bug in version 3.5.3 that causes the meta box to only display for pages and no other post types. Please update to 3.5.4 and see if the issue is resolved.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

The plugin version is 1.4…have updated but this version remains the same…there is no little box with Custom Fields that I can check or uncheck and apparently it’s important, so what to do? Have also updated to the latest version of WordPress!

Is it on the edit page for a Custom Post Type or is it “Pages” or “Posts”?

Also, do you mean you are using version 3.5.4?
Version 1.4 was the first official release of the plugin MANY years ago!

Thank you…I am using version 4.2.2 of WordPress. I bought AutoZon Builder from Kurt Chrisler and that plugin is version 1.4…has no check or uncheck box for Custom Fields in Posts or Pages just the usual Tags, Categories, Comments etc.

I am now beginning to feel that I bought an outdated Amazon plugin, ( Azon Product Pop Plugin ) which is of no use!!!!!

What to do now?

We did not create either of those plugins nor am I familiar with either of them – so I am not sure exactly what to tell you to do.

Are you using the Amazon Product in a Post plugin as well as those two?

Hi Don,

AutoZon Builder is the plugin in question. I bought it from Kurt Chrisler in March of this year…in the edit post where I want to use this, there is no Custom Fields Box in Screen Options, which I need to check, in order to edit my products, so how do I edit without that Custom Fields facility?

Is it in fact a feature that WordPress have dropped…maybe it has nothing to do with any plugin?

I just know that I can’t do what I need to do, as I follow instructions telling me that I can edit and do other things if, I have the Custom Fields box checked…I think I may not have made myself clear enough earlier.

Don, just another thought, could it be hiding somewhere that I don’t know about, you may have guessed that I’m not techy savvy, I just follow instructions…I’m not being funny here I just have no clue where else I might find Custom Fields!!!

You can check your screen options (located in the top right of the screen on the edit page) to see if the custom fields option is checked there – if not, check it and it will show up.
