Tree view with custom posts AND Pages

Hi,
Is it possible to tweak this plugin so that I can get ONE page tree which consists of both pages and custom post types. If not, this feature would be highly requested for coming versions of the plugin. The ideal would be that when you created a new page in the tree, you could choose which page type to create. This would mimic a common and appreciated pattern of other CMS.
