Since 4.2.1 Update I cannot Add Links

  • Since updating to 4.2.1, I cannot add any links to my posts without hard coding them in html. Anytime I add them after clicking on the link button and adding the site, the highlighted text never shows a link being added and neither does the html.

    Can anyone assist?

  • I’m having the same issue.

    I can preview, publish or save a draft if it only has text. But if it has links, cannot do anything.

    Please help, haven’t been able to publish anything for a couple of weeks I think…

    I just uploaded to 4.2.2 and the same issue is occurring – what is going on here??

    I don’t know why, but 4.2.2 has fixed it for me.

    I also found out in 4.2.1 that if I avoided certain characters, I could save, update, preview and publish. Characters such as accents on letters, the opening and closing apostrophes instead of “, the inclined colon instead of the normal one ‘.

    I don’t know why though…
