Post content type doesn't auto injected to custom post type

I don’t see an ad on the first page either.

Did you also check the display conditions and either allow ads on all post types or did not accidentally deactivate your custom post type?

I went through every settings and made sure that everything is correctly set up, but still no luck.

I guess that the part within “——–-The Ad—————” is the ad?

How did you include it? Using the post injection or a shortcode?

i did use the post injection method (since i don’t know any other way to create “Post content” ad type.

Hi Jack,

I just tested the post injection on a custom post type and had no problems including or excluding an ad on it.

Could you please check if you had any display conditions set?

How is your custom post type generated? Is it a text field where all the information are included or is the content generated automatically?

Notice for others: In this case the problem was that the theme doesn’t use the_content(), but get_the_content() to load the content of the custom post type and this function doesn’t come with the hook that is needed for the injection.

One can still use manual placements in such cases.
