I can no longer add events to My Calendar. I keep the following message:

Error: I’m sorry! I couldn’t add that event to the database.

Didn’t have this problem last week. I have not uploaded any other plugin since uploading My Calendar. I have the latest version of My Calendar: Version 2.3.29. Any ideas what is going on?

That’s very odd. Did anything else change? New hosting, new theme, etc?

I’ve seen this problem come up on occasion with a new install, but it’s pretty strange for it to suddenly happen on an existing stall that’s been running fine.

Nothing has changed at all. My host is the same as is the theme. It just happened suddenly. I added a new event about 10 days ago like I always do and now when I try to add it it gives me that message:

Error: I’m sorry! I couldn’t add that event to the database.

I also haven’t updated my theme or added any other plugins. It just stopped working!

Is there a limit of how many events can be added to the calendar?

I had to clear the cache. For some reason it stopped working but once I cleared the cache I could add the new event.

How odd. Was this a caching plug-in in WordPress? They shouldn’t have any impact on admin pages, generally speaking.
