Category count numbers not showing

I am having the same issue. I have mine in the sidebar.php but it doesn’t show a count at all….

Try using the template tag, wp_list_categories() instead.

Template_Tags/wp_list_cats is deprecated used optioncount instead of show_count.

Hi. Is there any way to show ONLY the count of a category? When I am in a category page, I would like to have a heading that says “25 entries so far”. Any thoughts?
