No Business name

  • Hi,

    I really like this plugin and I’ve purchased the pro version for several of my websites. It’s working great, but I have one question.

    The websites I have built for customers use this client plugin to create personal hub pages for their clients. These clients don’t have a business though. They still have to fill in this field because it is used for the name of the hub page.

    Is it possible to remove this field from registration and use their own name as the Hub page name? Now I have renamed the ‘business’ field in the registration form, but that way they have to fill in their name twice..

    Unfortunately it’s not currently possible to remove this field entirely from the registration form, or cease usage of the field elsewhere, as it is a required field. The main workaround would be to change the label of the field on the registration from, which it sounds like you have already done. (For anyone who reads this and would like to know how to change the label, please refer to the bottom of this post.) Unfortunately there is not currently a way to remove or “disconnect” this field from the plugin functions.

    To replace the Business Name field label, you will want to replace the text “{$labels.business_name}” in the appropriate template at WP-Client–>Templates–>Shortcode Templates

    Ok, thank you for the help. And that’s what I did. It’s not perfect, but it works.
