help with gallery in Lightbox2

  • Hi, I like your Lightbox 2 plug in.

    I can get it to work on single images on a page, so the plug-in working. But, I really want it to work with a gallery. So far I cant figure it out.

    I saw this line of text –

    “You can use WordPress image galleries and have them grouped and auto-lightboxed: [gallery link="file"]“

    but I dont understand where it goes or how I’m supposed to change it to make it work with the images I’ve chosen for my gallery.

    right now, on a test page I’m building, the only code on the page is this –

    [gallery ids="151,147,146,145,144,142,143,108"]

    and the gallery doesnt work in Lightbox 2. What changes to the above code would I make for the gallery to work in Lightbox 2?

    I tried changing it to [gallery link="151,147,146,145,144,142,143,108"] but nothing happened.

    Hello, I’m having the same problem. Could you post the solution here? My gallery code is the same as above and I don’t see any WP Lightbox 2 functions anywhere. Thanks.

    Dear users,

    you just need to to edit your galleries and set this option in “Gallery Settings” – Link to Media File, from the right side of gallery settings page.

    Always set this option when you add new gallery as well.

    To make this clearer, this is what he means:

    [gallery link="file" ids="151,147,146,145,144,142,143,108"]

    Click on any image and the lightbox appears.

    Also took me a while to figure this out…
