WordPress is asking me to update to the latest database, when I do so I get the following error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/doctorof/public_html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 1459

Line 1459 of that file is as follows:

    AND ( comment_content LIKE '%<%' OR comment_content LIKE '%>%' )"

Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

I’ve tried it several times now and still getting the same error. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins without any luck as well.

    Did you change anything grouch?

Tried reverting to the standard wordpress theme, still no luck.

Anybody have any ideas on what else I can try?

Just tried site again, it’s working completely fine now. I didn’t do anything to fix it, so not sure what happened. If the same thing happens to you, just wait 3-4 hours slamming your head against the wall I guess.
