After upgrading to version 4.2, I can not publish anything

  • Hello friends, the updated version of my wordpress to 4.2, however, there was a problem that has not allowed to post any new post.

    In the Add new post option, we fill the fields, clicking on publishing, content is blank, that is, add all put in the content, and then publish the post without content, only with the title .. what can be?

  • Did you deactivate all your plugins to see if that fixes the issue. If so, reactivate them one-by-one to see which one is causing the problem.

    I’ve done it, deactivated all plugins and still did not work!

    Try the default theme. If it works now, you have a theme problem. Check that your theme is up-to-date. What theme are you using?

    I’ve done both and it still does not work!!

    I tried the twenty fifteen theme and it still didn’t work. I’m using Prana Pro

    Make sure your content is backed up before going further.

    If you get to the point where you are using just WordPress and the default TwentyFifteen theme and nothing else and it doesn’t work, it could be that your install is corrupted. 4.2.1 has just come out so try installing that.

    Otherwise you can do a manual install using a fresh download. Do not overwrite wp-config.php or your wp-content directory.

    If it still doesn’t work, consider a new install in a subdirectory, with a fresh database and fresh downloads of everything. When its working, point your url to the new install.

    Oh my..not sure what happened but after I did all the suggestions it still wasn’t working, and then I went in to give it another shot and voila…all is well now!!!! Thank you for all the help and suggestions…greatly appreciated.
