• I have a drop down menu set to onclick rather than hover, and when I click it, it doesn’t drop down. Any idea what is going on? I would use hover, but that doesn’t seem to be working on an iPad.

the site is tall.life if you want to take a look. I’m just getting it started ??

    Thanks,
    Sam

  • Make sure your sub-menu items are underneath+and to the right below the primary menu item (one you click)

under appearance -> menus drag and drop sub-menu items underneath and to the right of their respective parent menu items

I have it set up like that, sub menus are below and to the right of menus I click, so that’s not the issue. I’ve also tried making the primary menu both a category and a page, but that doesn’t make any difference either. The only thing that makes it work is if I switch to hover mode, but then it won’t work on an Ipad. I need it to work for onlclick. Any suggestions?

I still can’t get it to work even after deleting the theme and then re-installing and activating it. Crazy I can’t get a drop down menu to work… I would think I was missing something except that drop down menus work fine for me with other themes.

    Any thoughts anyone?

You might use some conflicting plugin?
    Link to your site?

It seems the plugin called “content views” was conflicting. Too bad cause I really like both that plugin and this theme. I wonder if the developer of this theme could look into the issue? How might I best alert them? I will as the plugin developer too.

    Thanks,

The problem is that that’s not the only thing which doesn’t work fine.
Also the slider shouldn’t work fine with that plugin enabled, this is because that plugin is based on bootstrap3 (css and js) while this theme is, for now, based on bootstrap2. Also this theme uses some slightly changed versions of the bootstrap css js for some compatibility (or just improvement) reasons.
You can try to see if that plugin will work fine bootstrap 2 js and css.
Go to Content View Settings -> Frontend assets and check Don't load Bootstrap 3 style & script (in frontend of website)

Bang on, that made drop downs work. Unfortunately, there plugin no longer works properly with bootstrap 2…
I think I will try to get by without the plugin for now cause I like Customizr much more!
    Thanks,
    Sam
