• Admin > Edit Page
Make a change to a page, click “upload” button to save it
    Click on “View Page” button
View the page with changes – looks good
Click on the browser’s “<-” to go back to previous page
The Edit Page shows the content prior to the changes I made
Click on the browser’s “refresh page” arrow, then it shows the page with the correct changes.

Notes: Did a new install of WordPress 4.2 (download files) and a new test site with no plugins, using Twenty Thirteen & Twenty Twelve themes, on a localhost (Serverpress).

NOTE: MAYBE ISSUE WITH JS OR FUNCTION

Any Work Around For This Issue???

Now that 4.2 is released its not an alpha beta issue.

Why are you pressing the back button, though. The preview button should open in a new tab.

I’m using the “view page” button on the permalink address line, just under the Page Title Name. This brings me to the page view in the same window (not a new window), so I use the back arrow to get bck to the Edit Page. Yes, using the Preview Changes shows me the page in a new window, so no need for the back arrow. If this is the wrong way, why is the “view page” button there?

Still seems to be ab issue as I stated, this worked fine for me on the previous version of WordPress.

    Thanks for your reply……

In a way it’s browser cache. Interesting. If you click on edit on the page again, does that work properly?
