Hello, I’m new to Enhanced Media Library. It looks fantastic but after installing it I saw this error message showing on the “Media” page:

Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Offset not contained in string in /home/inspirarium/public_html/wp-content/plugins/enhanced-media-library/core/taxonomies.php on line 383

Under “Media” in the menu I don’t seem to have “Taxanomies” and “MIME” as shown in the screenshots. I have “Library”, “Add new”, “Categories”

I uninstalled and reinstalled again but no difference.

I did try deactivating some of my plugins but it didn’t make any difference either. I am using the Smoothie theme.

Could someone please advise me how to troubleshoot this problem. Thanks so much.

Not to worry. I made a very silly mistake. All is okay now.

I am seeing the same message. @frany – what did you do?

    My exact message:
Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Offset not contained in string in /home/[my path to www root]/wp-content/plugins/enhanced-media-library/core/taxonomies.php on line 383

    I have 2.0.4.5

OK, I figured it out too. For the next person who ends up looking at the same error message:

in EML config I had Media taxonomies set to Media Categories.

Under regular Media | Media Categories, I had no media categories configured.

    Doh!

I have been running this plugin for ages and this is the first time it has complained.

    Hi emdeedee,

Actually I thought I had things figured out after one really stupid mistake ie, not running my eye further down the left hand menu to see “Media Settings”. I was just focused on “Media” that was above. My big Doh moment! LOL. but as it turned out I still didn’t understand everything and still had the error message. Your message above finally set me on the right path. I made exactly the same mistake as you. I found I was really getting very confused with Categories and Media Categories (the later which are really filters for the images). Sigh. ??

    Hello All,

The error is fixed in v2.0.4.6 Thanks for letting me know about it!

As for menu, you are correct: “Media Settings” is just different menu than “Media”.
