Unable to access the dashboard

  • I’m having an odd problem with my blogs. I login and alls fine Dashboard comes up. When i move anywhere else though and go back to the dashboard all it says is this:

    Directory Access Prohibited

    It’s only just occured the past day, ive never had it before.

  • I’ve just upgraded to WP 2.3.2 and tried to install the Dasher Plugin. Now I encounter the same problems. The links to the dashboard link to ‘wp-admin/admin.php?page=index.php’ instead of linking to ‘index.php’. I get the same error message.
    I’ve deinstalled Dasher and removed all references in the database. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

    Same problem here. I’m using WordPress 2.3 with a Dutch translation and when I press the tab ‘Dashboard’ in WP-admin it sends me to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=index.php and I get the message ‘Directory Access Prohibited’

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=index.php

    rename the blank index.php inside your plugins directory to index.html
