GENGO doesn’t display translated blogtitle or tagline.
-
I have finally installed Gengo for a bi=lingual site puertoricotopalestine.org
There were a number of plugin conflicts. I found that by temporarily renaming the offending plug-in with my FTP client, I could restore functionality to my site.
The big problem I face now is that the blogtitle (‘name’) and tagline (‘description’) only display in the default language.
Do I need to edit a template file or what?
Eventually, I’d like a more elegant way to list AND CHOOSE languages. For now, I made pages with html to redirect to the URL with the respective ?language= suffix. This works OK for two languages, but if I add a third, this won’t work so well. I am not versed in php, so I am hoping to find some documentation that will instruct me in how to add, say, a pull down menu where users can chose a language, or a simple and distict menu bar for languages.
