Disable microdata (structured data) snippet on some pages
-
We have custom pages that display events. See this example:
https://www.createncraft.com/calendar/gen-con-2015-whovian-mini-album/
Yoast SEO is automatically inserting this snippet of microdata:
<script type='application/ld+json'>{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org","@type":"WebSite","url":"http:\/\/www.createncraft.com\/","name":"Create N Craft","alternateName":"createNcraft"}</script>
That is not correct for this type of page, since it’s an event.
How can I STOP Yoast from inserting that snippet? Then I’m hoping I can add my own snippet that supports the @type: Event (with all the related date, URL, location parameters).
