Parallax Not Loading Properly on IOS Version

  • Long time WordPress user, first time posting to the forum here.

    We purchased a theme called Biz-WP by codexcoder.com, and are finally near finishing our website, when we tested it in Safari on IOS 8 across multiple devices and the parallax sections of the theme don’t load properly.

    It appears that it tries to load the background images, then fails. First, we thought the image file sizes were too large, but we checked and they’re all about 100-200k.

    So now I’m wondering if there’s anything that can be done via CSS? I’ve contacted support on codexcoder.com but they say they don’t experience our problem. I don’t think they don’t understand what the problem is.

  • you need to contact your theme developer.they should fix any issue with the theme as it is a paid product

    I’ve contacted support on codexcoder.com but they say they don’t experience our problem.

    what do they mean? send screenshot of what’s broken. they cant shrug it off. you have paid for the product.

    I did send screenshots, and this was their exact response:

    “parallax issue is ok here.. I don’t know how you get that.. I have checked with iphone.”

    Have you deactivated all of your plugins to see if any are causing the problem? Have you cleared the cache on the phone?

    I have cleared the cache, and disabling plugins does not solve the problem. Thanks for the suggestions though…
