Scan issues: identified plugin file modifications, broken cron key
-
Yesterday’s scan identified more than 20 wordfence plugin files that were modified and the link to show me how the file has changed results a message from Wordfence that there are no differences between the original file and the file in the repository.
After starting a scan manually today to see if I could clear those issues, I received this error:
Scan Engine Error: Wordfence could not start a scan because the cron key does not match the saved key.Scan Engine Error: Wordfence could not start a scan because the cron key does not match the saved key.
plus my saved key info and current unexploded key info. The activity log shows this undefined index error message (partially pasting address here)- /html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfScanEngine.php Line: 184
The scan reports it IS scanning but admittedly seems to be taking awhile, stuck at scanning for malware. My wordpress was auto updated yesterday as was wordfence and I updated Yoast SEO and Analytics plugins.
Advice please.
