Excerpts not listed on single.php

  • Im using the <more> tag to display an image and a small text snippet on my front page of the blog.

    When visitors click the post they are obviously sent to the full blog post on single.php

    However, i want whatever text or image i input before the <more> tag to not be included on the single.php full blog post?

    Is this possible?
