    Hello,

First, I just wanted to say thank you for this great plugin. I am anxious to try falcon, but what would I do if it did not work well with my site? I saved the htt access file but if there is a problem, what would I do?

Many many thanks for any help.

    With best regards,
    Odinia

  • Hi Odinia,

I’m using Falcon on a shared host and it works great for me. Make a backup of your site first if you are concerned. I suggest doing that anyway before making a change. You can always restore to a previous working state. If you do have issues, you can always try basic caching which is compatible with many environments.

Thank you very much, Brian. How would I go about restoring it if there were a difficulty? Could you tell me exactly if at all possible? I am not very expert. Best regards! Seana

    Hi again,

To backup the .htaccess file, use FTP and save a copy to your computer. Once you have the backup of .htaccess you can always copy it back to your server.

See the following link on backing up the actual WordPress database.
