Reinstalled Jetpack – Subscribers Missing

    Update – after digging around more, it seems that the subscribers are still there, but the subscriber count is missing.

    I don’t see the check box in the widget anymore – did that feature go away with the recent update?

    It is in a state of flux. If you visit Appearance->Widgets and edit the widget, there is a little helper text mentioning how to include the subscriber count. The new version allows you to set whatever message you want instead of the old one.

    Jetpack 3.5 will provide the old default text, provided that you have not saved any widget changes to that widget in the meantime. In short, if it hasnt’ been touched before or after, the default will be restored.

    Awesome – thanks for clarifying. I’ll sit tight for a while and see how it shakes out.
