    Hi guys,

    I just tried to change from mqtranslate to qtranslate-x with one of my WordPress websites. The website is using Sahifa Theme, which comes with “custom sliders” you can add between header and post itself. But as soon as I activate qTranslate-X, the following warning is displayed instead of the picture slideshow:

    Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /www/htdocs/w00b34d0/wp/magazine/wp-content/themes/sahifa/includes/post-head.php on line 108

    The problem disappearsif changing back to mqtranslate and deactivating qtranslate-x, so qtranslate-x seems to be the origin.

    Is there a possibility to fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance
    Alex

    @alexisms,

    your theme uses Page Builder, it is possible to disable this temporarily.

    See if that makes a difference.

    We spoke about that here:

    where “joniamorebieta” found a workaround for that. Unfortunately it doesn’t work to me with the latest version of sahifa released this week ??

    @aegeebergamo,

    contact the designers of that theme and ask them to integrate qTranslate.

    They can always contact us if they have questions.

    Does anyone have an update yet or a quick fix that makes Sahifa work with qTranslate X?

    I have no access yet to Sahifa support forum, since a friend bought and installed Sahifa theme for me. I’m going to ask for the purchase code etc. to get some support by the authors…

    Just wanted to give an update on this issue for other users.

    So I got my access to Sahifa support forum back. I posted the issue but there has been no solution in sight. Sadly, I actually doubt there is enough interest to find one at all.

    So the final solution will be to change the theme and finish working with Sahifa completely or try to run another translation plugin (tried several already, none seems to fit). I’m really disappointed about the theme’s “support”. ??

    There you have to pay for it?
    This is also a theme form ThemeForest?

    Yes it’s a paid Themeforest theme and “support included”, but that seems not to concern problems with plugins unfortunately.

    Thanks for your help, of cause you could have an login code to check the issue yourself. I’m thankful for any idea to solve the problem.
