    Hi there,

After installing a plugin in order to set-up an e-shop my WordPress blog started to behave strangely in the sense that now when I write a post I cannot automatically add media in it – the add media button does not do anything anymore when I click it. Also I cannot add seo words or tag words anymore: the words are not saved.

  • which plugin? And are you really using WP 3.2?? If so, that’s very likely the problem and it’s VERY insecure.

It is actually WP 4.1.1 and I do not remember what plug in exactly but some one that is related with e-commerce.
I tried to change the theme but no improvement.

Can you remove that plugin from the Dashboard? If not, use FTP or Cpanel (ask your host if you don’t know how to use those) to access your site files on the server and manually delete it.

I have deleted all the plugins that are related with e-commerce.
I have now only the following plugins:
askimet, all in one SEO pack, async social sharing, Facebook, Google XML sitemaps, SI captcha antispam.
These is all that I see when going to active plugins and there is WordPress SEO as inactive.

Try deactivating the rest of them and switch to a default theme (Twenty Fifteen) to see if that fixes the problem.

Hey, it is working now. I updated all of the plugins and …bingo! Thanks a lot WPyogi!

Oh cool, glad it’s fixed and happy to help :)!
