  • Haven’t seen that yet, maybe someone will see your request and make it.

There is a post rating plugin, where the users can say 1-5 stars. Actually it can be any range of numbers, and doesn’t have to be stars, you get the idea. This would let you know which posts were liked in general, but maybe not per-user.

Also, not to be sarcastic, but the users could bookmark the post in their browser if they like it.

I’m already using the post rating plugin, great plugin. But it would be nice if people can add their favorite entries on their profile or something.

If I could work with php I could make it by myself, but I can’t ;).

Since it’s a pretty good idea, I bet someone might be convinced to make the plugin.

Of course if you recruit or even hire someone to do it, and give it away, everyone benefits that much sooner ??

I can name a few talented plugin makers, if you want some ideas of people to contact and ask for this.

Hey, do you think your users go to their Profile page, anyway? You want them to use their Profile more?

How is this better than bookmarking, anyway?

Well, I want to make the Profile page more attractive to add more functions to it, like avatars. I’m also trying to implent the Profile page into my website (so users don’t have to go to the ‘dashboard’, and i already did this with the registration/login/forgotpassword forms).

And why it is better than bookmarking? The admin, for example, can see wich entries are favorite by people and can adjust his entries to that type of entries.

(sorry for my bad english ?? )

    Consider now the VoteItUp plugin

It might be hacked to suit your purpose.

It’s got the ability for users to “vote” or “favorite” a post, and then it has a function to show the list of user-names who voted for that post. Surely it can be changed around to put the list of posts YOU voted for on your profile page.
