    Hi,

I’ve got My Tickets running successfully on my site but when customers buy tickets, the links to the tickets in their email confirmation bring up error 404 pages. How can I fix this? I’m understandably getting worried customers thinking their purchase is invalid. Otherwise I love the plugin.

    Thanks,

    Sam

There should be a Page in your WordPress installation that’s called ‘tickets’, and is registered with My Tickets under the Payment settings as the ‘Tickets’ page.

Are these set? Is the Tickets Page published?

If you change the Tickets page after selling tickets, that can also create issues, since the emailed links won’t match your current tickets page.

Thanks for your help, Joe, yes there was an issue with the tickets page, which I’ve sorted now. BTW do you know why the system emails me four times each time someone buys a ticket (regardless of how many tickets they buy)? I receive four identical emails with the subject line “Ticket sales for are now closed” (with a gap after “for”). Doesn’t seem to be a problem but it’s a bit odd.

Hmm. That’s odd – that shouldn’t be fired at purchase. That’s an automatic notification that should be sent whenever an events closes for ticket sales…

I’ll investigate that – it’s probably a bug. I’m currently working on an update to release this week, so assuming I can find the issue, I should get it out this week.
