Missing HTML & Visual Editor tabs

    My student tells me that they’ve turned off all their plugins, changed browsers, logged out, and checked their user settings. I had them make me an admin account to check. I see the HTML and Visual Editor tabs.

    Any ideas?

    While logged in under the specific affected account, at Users -> Your Profile, make sure that “Disable the visual editor when writing” is not checked.

    Strangely enough, they said that when they signed onto my admin account then logged out, then logged back into their own, the issue was gone. No idea what happened!
