file deletion feature

  • I have the plugin set up to back up my site to my free Dropbox (2gb) account and have the file deletion setting set up at 15.

    I’ve just run out of space in my Dropbox account, but I don’t want to purchase more space at this time.

    If I delete a few of the backups, and set the file deletion setting to 5 (site is about 190mb), will I be able to keep backing up my site without running out of room?

  • Normely yes. IF you set it to 5 BAckWPup will delete all files over the 5 on next run automaticly for you.

    If you go to your Dropbox page and do some of the things like “share a file”, add Dropbox to other devices, etc (your page should give you a list of things), you can get up to 50gb of free storage…Hope this helps you..
