  • hi serginsurge,

Thank you for the message, In this case, Could you provide he the admin login account via our forum here: https://www.woorockets.com/forum/product-support/wr-pagebuilder/ so that i can recheck it for you

    sincerely,
    tony

I am having an issue with the plugin, I have been using it for some time now and all of the sudden I cannot edit anything I just the the loading wheel when I try and edit. also on the front end of the site some of the rows are not showing up.

Getting the same thing on multiple sites.

Sometimes when updating the content on a page, hitting save, the page that reloads is just blank. After that, the page is broken. Ie everytime you try and go back to edit that page, just a blank screen. No errors, no wp_debug errors, no php errors. Just a blank page without anything at all (no data received).

Other pages works fine, but once this happens to a page, that particular page is broken and not possible to edit any more. Also the saved content that made the page “crash” has corrupted (halfway finished) data on frontend.

This is occurring on multiple hosts, multiple sites, with different configs. It’s not a plugin conflict, it doesn’t have to do with WP version (I haven’t updated these to 4.3 for instance). I’ve deactivated/reactivated plugin and tried all the “easy fixes” like clearing caches etc. Nothing.

This is a major issue with the plugin at the moment, and I wouldn’t advise anyone to use it at all until this is resolved.

    Hello.
I’m having the same problem to edit. The editor simply does not appear.
I thought it was for updating the web to version 4.3. More like the friend say up trouble in this plugin. Too bad, because it is an excellent product.
If I go back to wordpress 4.1.7, would return to work?
    thank you
    ps: my post:

    Running WP4.3 Make4.3 and WRPB2.5.2

Just tied to edit a page – editing via the text screen works but the visual screen is blank. Selecting the visual screen causes the text screen to go blank too.

This plugin remains very buggy and difficult to recommend

I’ve been using this plugin for a few weeks now and thought it was great initially, but it now seems to be very ‘buggy’.

I’m experiencing the same issue with pages becoming corrupt when trying to edit and subsequently being un-editable for no obvious reason, forcing me to deactivate the plugin to try to salvage the page.

Also unable to edit page elements via the visual editor screen.

I really want to like this plugin, because if it worked right it would make life so much easier, but as of right now its proving to be a nightmare! #frustrated! #disappointed!

Any progress on resolving this issue ? Loosing all the visual editor is a major problem

I can’t see any movement at all from devs in this issue.

At the moment the plugin feels abandoned, since ppl don’t seem to be receiving any help with this.

I would advise everyone to avoid it at the moment. We have deactivated and uninstalled it on all client sites that previously used it.

WR Page builder has shown clear potential but the visual editor has been buggy throughout for me, so maybe it was a bigger challenge than expected.

Deactivating looks to be a head ache.

gfors – Are you able to give any pointers on deactivating or removal. I am not overly technical; Did you parse data – I gave up on deactivating when I was faced with the parse option – didn’t know which route was best

Is there another, free or otherwise plugin that will give most of the options this has. ie one that can be loaded after WR Pagebuilder is removed. Most I looked at didn’t look to have as many options.

But better to sacrifice some flexibility for a reliable useable product.

I appreciate the risk lies with me but some pointers would be useful

    Many thanks

    Mr.Ian…

Well, we used it on a few client sites. Some were best suited to parse the data, some not. The main thing is if you keep the html markup from the plugin when deactivating, you will have code in your content.

Thats fine, but the next time you use the regular visual editor, you might accidentally either manipulate or remove this code (which you only see in the text editor). Therefore it’s a bit of a minefield if you don’t know your way around html code.

The main upside to this plugin was that it used the bootstrap frameworks markup. So for instance for our client sites that we used the bootstrap framework on we could just add the pagebuilder and it would use the existing classes etc for columns and what not. So it fit seamlessly into the theme since they’re both using the same css.

I haven’t found any other pagebuilder that does this, and we have ended up making our own simple version for some clients who need it (for basic columns etc). Since I’ve lost all trust in using a third party plugin that has the potential of literally destroying all the content on the site without warning.

Since we don’t know what triggers this major issue, it’s also a risk leaving it active on a site. Without knowing, you could run into the same issue and end up with corrupt data, just by saving a post.

I would try and put it like this, if your theme uses bootstrap css, then you’re good with leaving the pagebuilder data when deactivating (since the code will work with your theme anyway). *But*, you’ll be left with code in your content. If your theme *doesn’t* use the bootstrap framework and you deactivate, this code will still be there but since the css is gone your site will probably look like crap ??

Many thanks for the pointer – at least I understand the removal process better now

It would be great if Woo Rockets could fix the problems PDQ though

I have the same issues? How do I fix it? I can’t edit my home page, everything is blank.

Same issue here. After publishing/saving page the whole editor page goes to blank. No errors logged. We have over 700 pages done with WR PageBuilder, so it’s gonna be a nightmare to manually convert content to use some other visual editor.

Not very usable plugin until this huge issue has been fixed.

still broken for me despite the update to 2.5.3

I too have had issues where suddenly I can no longer edit a page in the admin. I recently had to roll-back to a backup in order to restore my homepage. WR PB was bundled in a theme we picked up on Theme Forest.

I normally use the Divi theme as its page builder is rock solid. It has since it has been released as a standalone plugin and I am seriously considering changing over.

The only thing that’s putting me off is that I’d have to recreate the page layouts again..
