    Hi,

I’ve created custom post type with settings ‘searchable’. However, it doesn’t show as a selectable post type in Visual Composer with Meta Data & Taxonomies Filter. Other custom posts are showing. I’ve asked my theme developer who states:

This plugin inits creating custom post AFTER visual composer load own functions. So, visual composer can’t see such custom posts.

    Is there a fix?

    Thanks,
    Ramon

ugh, Visual Composer loading their own stuff so early is a bane to our plugin, which will be back to the default “10” priority on the next release.

I don’t have a great solution to compatibility with their plugin to be honest. You can increase the priority yourself, but it’s not something I’m going to implement for the plugin as a whole and for everyone who uses ours.

Thanks for the quick reply Michael. Do know of a good how-to on increasing the priority?

The only way would be to edit our plugin directly, but you’d need to remember to re-implement any time there’s an update from us.
