UPDATE: In the afternoon today, the forecast disappeared from the widget. Yet if you click on the extended forecast link, the data appears to be available in the weather feed.

Just trying to understand if the feed is so unreliable that I should pursue alternatives. Love the design of the plugin. I is exactly what I would want for my site. Is there hope that this will stabilize?

FINAL UPDATE: Upgrading to PRO version gave me the option to use Yahoo weather data. This fixed the issue with High/Low reading the same as current temperature. Thus the problem appears to belong to OpenWeathermap.org.

So can we get this fixed in the free version of the plugin? I’m seeing the same temps for current, high and low as well.

I’m also having this problem, is there an answer to netgreen’s question please?

The way I fixed the problem is that I upgraded to the Pro version of the Plugin. The free version uses a weather data source and it is just not reliable. I found that the Pro version lets you optionally uss Yahoo weather data and since I switched, it has been rock solid. It it too bad that the free version does not give you Yahoo as an option but the plugin itself if OK, just the data source.

Many thanks lostpine. It seems that this is the only solution. I shall have to reconsider.

I switched to another weather widget …
